Vocational Education
Recognizing the socio-economic importance of Vocational and Occupational Training, the UAE government has implemented many initiatives to encourage and train UAE nationals and residents in industry-ready trades, including the establishment of organizations such as Abu Dhabi Centre for Technical & Vocational Education and Training (ACTVET), National Institute of Vocational Education in Dubai (NIVE), Abu Dhabi Vocational Education & Training Institute (ADVETI) and National Qualification Authority (NQA) in Abu Dhabi.
