Admission Policy

Admission is FREE. All visitors must register their attendance at the entrance of the exhibition hall. Invitations may be obtained in advance from the organizers and the organiser reserves to right to refuse entry to individuals, at their discretion.

As a sizeable portion of our international student population originates from the Middle East and Dubai in particular, GETEX has served our student enrollment drive over the years extremely well. We are able to achieve conversions from a significant number of students through this Exhibition and it also carries the added education fraternity networking value for our Vancouver-based college. GETEX remains a highly effective forum for our university to interface with students from the Arab world, and our participation at the Exhibition largely leads our marketing and admission efforts in this region, augmenting our market presence in the region. The turnout at the 2014 show was very pleasing as we received enquiries from a lot more undergraduate students for our programmes this time. Marilyn Mendonca, Admissions Officer, Columbia College
